Enjoy dinner in a restaurant overlooking Cortona’s beautiful main piazza, where warm lights, gentle chatter, and delicious local flavours set the tone for the unforgettable days ahead.

Sunday : Cortona: Hidden Treasures & A Taste of Home

A guided tour of Cortona, exploring inside and outside the town walls, discovering what makes this hilltop gem so special and stopping at some of the iconic filming spots from Under the Tuscan Sun.

Time to wander Cortona’s charming medieval streets and browse its shops before a visit to a four-generation jeweller’s workshop to add a little sparkle to the day.

Monday - Neighbouring Umbria! Lake Trasimeno, History & Island Lunch

Discover stunning Lake Trasimeno and learn about the famous Battle of Trasimeno and Hannibal’s legendary tactics.

Enjoy a scenic boat trip to one of the lake’s charming islands.

Savour Lunch in a restaurant on the island, surrounded by peaceful waters and nature.

Stroll along the lakeshore to soak up the views before returning to Cortona.

Tuesday : Discover Siena, Savour the Campo, and Cook Up a Tuscan Feast

Head to the rolling hills of Montalcino, home of the legendary Brunello wine, to visit a renowned winery to enjoy a guided tasting of this world-famous wine and lunch.

Explore the historic hilltown of Montepulciano with a tour of one of its ancient wine cellars, carved into the rock beneath the town.

Return to Cortona to unwind, enjoy dinner at a restaurant and reflect on a day steeped in flavour, history, and Tuscan beauty.

Friday : Espresso, Pecorino and Fond Farewell.

Experience an authentic Italian Coffee Experience.

Explore and wander the charming streets of Pienza, the jewel of the Val d’Orcia and birthplace of the famous pecorino cheese.

Visit to a nearby family-run cheese farm, where you’ll enjoy a guided visit and a delicious light lunch.

Back to Cortona where you have the rest of the afternoon to relax or browse the shops for a few last treasures before we gather for our farewell dinner
